Directions

Prof. Coimbra's office is located in the Science and Engineering Research Facility (SERF) on UC San Diego’s main campus in La Jolla, CA.

From the San Diego International Airport

1. travel north on I-5 (15 mi)

2. take the La Jolla Village Dr exit (500 ft)

3. turn left onto La Jolla Village Dr (0.3 mi)

4. turn right onto Villa La Jolla Dr (0.4 mi)

5. enter the Gilman Parking structure (intersection of Villa La Jolla Dr and Gilman Dr)

The Gilman Parking structure has visitor parking on floors 1–3. Park in a visitor space (marked with a V), then purchase a parking pass from one of the dispensers (located on the west-side of the structure) and place the pass on the dashboard of your vehicle.

Once you are parked, travel north on Russell Dr (~700 ft) to reach the SERF Building. Prof. Coimbra’s office is on the southwest corner of the second floor (room 245), which you can reach via the elevators on the west-side of the building or the stairs on the east-side of the building.
